On behalf of the pupils, staff and Governing Body here at St. David’s Church of England Primary School, I would like to welcome you warmly to our school website. We are a thriving and welcoming school in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire providing a high quality education in a happy and safe environment.

As a growing one and a half form entry school, with twelve classes, currently totalling 285 children. We have created a family atmosphere, which is upheld by a dedicated staff team who put the interests of the individual child at the centre of everything they do.   At St. David’s School we instil strong moral values in our children, helping them develop confidence and independence as well as becoming kind and respectful individuals. We believe in providing our children with varied opportunities to use and develop the gifts and talents they have been blessed with, to ensure they embrace “Life in its fullness” (John 10:10).

We believe it is very important to provide a learning environment where all children can thrive, and where children are inspired to do their best. Our school vision and values set out how we aim to achieve this. Each year we review our priorities for the school and develop a school ‘school improvement plan’ which sets out specific objectives, centred around our Mission ‘Enquiring minds, caring hearts, creative hands’.

If you would like to find out more, I invite you to come and see why St. David’s Primary School is such a special place to be. For further information, please contact the School Office on 01608 650521.

With every best wish,

Mrs Jenny Walker

Homework (whole school)

Over the Easter Holidays our School Parliament would like your child to:

Design a character to match a Conventions on the Rights of a Child (sheet attached) and write a biography for it.

The idea is that this will raise our child's awareness of the different rights.  There will be a prize per phase for the best entry.  Good Luck and we look forward to seeing them before the Wednesday 7th May.

Please see attachment for an idea of what you could do.

Thank you
