Meet Our Worship Team
At our school, the Worship Team is a small but mighty group of pupils from various year groups who come together to enhance our community’s spiritual life. Meeting every other week during lunch, these dedicated children collaborate to plan meaningful acts of worship that they present to the entire school every half term.
The Worship Team takes great pride in creating worship sessions that are engaging and thought-provoking for all. They brainstorm themes, select songs, choose readings, and even write prayers. By involving pupils from different ages, the team ensures that the worship sessions resonate with everyone, fostering a sense of inclusivity and shared experience.
In addition to planning and leading these special worship sessions, the Worship Team plays a vital role in developing the reflection areas within each classroom. These areas are designed as peaceful spaces where students can go for quiet reflection, prayer, or simply to gather their thoughts.
Being part of the Worship Team is a wonderful opportunity to develop leadership skills, creativity, and a deeper understanding of spirituality. It’s also a chance for them to contribute positively to the school community, making a lasting impact.
The Worship Team exemplifies our school’s commitment to nurturing the spiritual well-being of our pupils. Through their hard work and dedication, they help create an environment where reflection, faith, and community spirit thrive.
