PSHE Curriculum: Jigsaw – A Mindful Approach to Education
We use the Jigsaw PSHE curriculum, a thoughtful approach to Personal, Social, and Health Education. Jigsaw is designed to help children develop a strong sense of self, build positive relationships, and become effective learners.
Jigsaw meets all the statutory requirements for Relationship and Health Education.
A key feature of Jigsaw is its emphasis on mindfulness. Through mindfulness practices, children learn to understand and manage their emotions, develop resilience, and build self-belief. These skills are crucial for helping children navigate their feelings and interactions with others.
Jigsaw also supports the positive and inclusive environment of our school. It teaches children to appreciate diversity and fosters a culture where everyone feels respected and valued. By working together and discussing various topics, we learn to build healthy relationships and contribute to a caring community.
Our PSHE curriculum supports the overall holistic development of our children. It prepares them to be effective learners and kind individuals, ready to make a positive impact in their lives and the lives of others now and into the future.
