Friends of St. David’s (FOSDA) is a charitable group made up of parent volunteers. Over the years these parents have offered their time to assist St. David’s raise funds for memorable experiences for all its school children, whether fully funding or partially funding them, as well as purchasing essential school equipment.
It’s important to FOSDA to help the parent community where financial pressures exists – hence subsidising experiences, but also to assist the school in providing pleasure and lovely memories to the school children through their years at St. David’s. This is why the volunteers do what they do.
FOSDA have organised fun school events such as Break the Rules day, sourced and provided raffle prizes at sports day, planned Christmas Fayre’s, ran multiple discos & raised money through clothes donations, organised bake sales …and the list goes on.
They have been supported by many local businesses including Martha’s coffee shop, The Cotswold Snug, Batsford Arboretum, Barons Eden to name but a few.
As children come and go, so do the parents that help. The time they have volunteered has been appreciated and all of our children have benefited.
